The castle is open daily from April 1st to November 1st. Opening hours: weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sundays and public holidays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. No resting day. We offer guided tours only! Tours typically take place at the top of the hour and take between approx. 45 and 60 mins. depending on group size. For groups of 15 or more please call in advance. For groups of 15 or more guided tour arrangements outside regular hours are available.

In recent decades, the picturesque setting of Castle Kreuzenstein has often been used as a movie set. During the 50s and 60s it mainly served as a background for scary horror movies while in more recent times many sophisticated historical dramas, TV movies and Hollywood blockbusters were shot at Kreuzenstein such as
